Sorry, yes another work related post.
This was something special though, a true Formula One thoroughbred, a 1997 Formula one car, originally raced by Gerhard Berger one of my heroes of Formula One.
Occasionally, just occasionally you get to photograph something you truly love, and I had the chance today to not only photograph this beauty, but to do that typical man thing, of actually touching the vehicle, which brings it even more to life. It was the heady days of true driving greats, like Senna, Mansell, Berger, Hill etc, when they were actually driving the cars, and they actually sounded like cars, unfortunately this year, due to changes, the classic sound has gone with the reduction in engine size, and rev limits. The sound it made around the track today was incredible, and it looked fast just standing still.
Sorry, this post has been more about the car than photography, every now and again it doesn't hurt to live the dream!!
