Voluntary work, in whatever form it comes, be it a Community Responder, Firefighter, Police, Lifeboat, or any other form of voluntary work takes commitment, and most of the time a lot of it, to get through the rough times as well as the good.
So today's blog is showing an example of that commitment, by people in another walk of life, those that preserve our history!
St Fagins Living History museum near Cardiff, staffed by volunteers who are trying to preserve various buildings throughout Wales, including some from North Wales I was surprised to discover.
This church is a shining example of that. In total it took 22 years of organising to move this church from its original location to its new one in the St Fagins museum.
So the next time you come across a volunteer, in what ever walk of life, don't dismiss them, they want to help!
